Chief Information Officer | Clean Energy | High-Growth A B2B clean energy scale-up is building the operational and technology infrastructure to match an increasingly ambitious global footprint as they continue to scale profitably. They're hiring a CIO to own the internal backbone that makes all of it run. The business is at an inflection point - fresh capital, aggressive international expansion, and a CEO who takes technology seriously. The CIO seat here has real scope, real budget, and a direct line to the executive team. The RoleThis is an enterprise technology leadership role. You'll own the systems, infrastructure, and data governance that underpin a complex, multi-entity, multi-country operation.Your mandate: drive the digital transformation - digitise and automate the operational core (finance, HR, supply chain, procurement), reduce cost and manual overhead, and build an IT function that scales with the business.Key areas of ownership:Enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, OA) across a multi-entity groupIT governance, cybersecurity, and data compliance across jurisdictions (PDPA, PIPL, GDPR)Infrastructure modernisation and cloud strategyAI and automation applied to internal operations - measurably reducing process cost and headcount dependencyIT budget ownership and board-level reportingWho They're Looking For15+ years in Tech/Engineering/IT leadership, with at least 6-8 years at CIO, IT Director, or VP levelBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Proven delivery of large-scale ERP/CRM implementations in a multi-entity or multi-country environmentStrong understanding of data privacy and security regulations across relevant jurisdictions (e.g., PDPA Singapore, PIPL China, GDPR). Strong on governance - you've built frameworks, not just managed systemsFluent in Mandarin and English - essential for managing cross-border teams and stakeholdersHigh comfort operating in a fast-moving, founder-led business where priorities shift and pace is real
