The successful candidate will be a proven leader with a minimum of 10-15 years' progressive management experience, preferably in a private member-owned country club residential community or a similar hospitality operation. This role is not a turnaround assignment but a stewardship opportunity at scale, with a focus on institutional reinvestment, operational sophistication, and organizational depth. The GM/COO will be responsible for overseeing complex capital projects, implementing best-in-class systems, and recruiting and mentoring high-performing senior leaders. Strong financial acumen, a refined hospitality mindset, and exceptional communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in a member-owned, board-governed environment, and a leadership style that is confident, visible, and values-driven. Key responsibilities for the GM/COO include leading the community through strategic capital improvements, maintaining a visible and authentic presence, and cultivating relationships with relevant governmental officials. The role requires a leader who can inspire, keep members and staff informed about trends, and help define and build the brand of the community.
