The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, maintaining a hands-on presence, and ensuring the financial sustainability and operational excellence of the property. This role requires a dynamic leader who can seamlessly transition between board-level strategy and front-line engagement, with a focus on setting long-range goals, stewarding financial resources, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and exceptional environment for guests and staff. The Camp Director will lead a seasoned team, oversee a large seasonal staff, and be instrumental in shaping the culture and community of the camp. Applicants for the Chief Operating Officer and Camp Director position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years' of progressive administrative and financial leadership experience, with a preference for those with a background in camp operations, hospitality, higher education, or a related environment. The role demands advanced financial acumen, strong strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading large, diverse teams, navigating complex employee relations, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
