Coo/Cno PositionThe COO/CNO facilitates, directs, and coordinates both clinical and ancillary operational activities and programs relative to the day-to-day operations and the care we deliver in the community through the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services. Working to execute on the strategic plan, this operational leader drives performance through a consumer-centric approach and is accountable for meeting total cost of care, quality, patient experience, and staffing performance metrics.What you can expect:Establishes and maintains professional practice standards and guidelines, assuring adherence to relevant statues, rules, regulatory requirements and accreditation standards across the facility for area of responsibility.Promotes high performance expectations for the management team to improve the patient experience, quality of care and efficiency of care. Sets clear expectations and holds team members accountable for producing desired outcomes. Provides growth and development opportunities to high potential employees, mentors developing leaders and addresses succession planning.Works collaboratively with other clinical disciplines, physicians, departments and leaders to ensure that clinical and quality improvement programs are coordinated. Ensures services are fully integrated to ensure patient centered outcomes, with strategic oversight of human, fiscal and material resources with the area.Directs and oversees financial stewardship with an emphasis on providing efficient utilization of resources, and making appropriate financial decisions for designated operations. Defines and directs resource allocation, program priorities and program design for areas of responsibility.Partners with Population Health VP to prioritize and deploy capital to meet aims of local strategic priorities.Develops and maintains positive relations with physicians, employees, patients, families, regulatory agencies, contractors, and other applicable parties. Ensures a high level of collaboration within a highly matrixed team environment in order to coordinate activities, review work, exchange information, and resolve problems.Promotes collaboration among various stakeholders to achieve optimal results.Provides leadership in the development, implementation, and oversight of standards, systems, policies, and procedures in alignment with the organization's strategic priorities. Translates system strategic priorities into daily operations.Fosters a culture of partnership. Proactively collaborates with Centers of Excellences (COEs) and other system functions to deliver exceptional outcomes. Promotes teamwork (Lean) as the standard operating system throughout the health system and the deployment of best practices throughout the organization.In collaboration with leadership, develops an accountable culture, including regular rounding, being visible and communicating with employees at all levels of the organization.
