Job Description

Responsibilities:

As a strategic partner on the leadership team of a NYC-based clothing firm, you will work closely with the team to ensure that performance expectations are consistently met.

Your role involves coaching and developing the team to ensure they meet key business metrics while also seeking opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, productivity, and profitability. This includes reducing costs and enhancing control measures. You will collaborate with others to develop or refine systems, processes, controls, and procedures to boost the firm's overall efficiency and ensure exceptional client service.

You will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and comprehensive reports on the company's operating conditions. This role also entails managing the overall strategy, purpose, and vision for the entire Human Resources function, including benefits, payroll, 401k, recruitment, learning and development, culture, performance management, and succession planning.

Leading and developing a team across multiple locations and functions is a key part of this role. You will motivate and lead a high-performance management team, attract, recruit, and retain key members of the executive team, and provide mentoring as part of the management career development program. In collaboration with the management team, you will develop and implement plans to build the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel necessary to support the rapid growth objectives of the organization.

You should demonstrate a proactive approach, with a willingness to tackle new tasks and an attitude that no task is too small, impossible, or beyond improvement.
