Genesis Recruiting is looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) for an OPWDD (Office for People With Developmental Disabilities) company. As COO, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of our organization, ensuring that we provide high-quality support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will work closely with the executive team to implement programs that meet the needs of our clients while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance service delivery and improve overall organizational performance. Oversee the management of day-to-day operations within the OPWDD division, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and staff to foster a culture of excellence and accountability. Work collaboratively with the executive leadership team to develop and monitor organizational goals and objectives. Establish and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, government agencies, and other relevant organizations to enhance service delivery. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and make informed decisions. Ensure that all programs are aligned with best practices and reflect the organization's commitment to person-centered care. Prepare regular reports for the executive team and board of directors on operational performance, initiatives, and emerging trends. Master’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field is preferred. Experience in operational leadership experience in the healthcare or human services industry. Strong knowledge of OPWDD regulations, policies, and best practices. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
