The role will guide program strategy, quality improvement and innovation across areas such as academics, arts, wellness and career readiness, while supporting program directors to strengthen delivery, staff development and operational consistency. The Chief Program Officer will also leverage data and evaluation systems to improve program effectiveness, foster a collaborative and inclusive culture among program staff, and work closely with executive leadership and the board to guide organizational growth, manage change initiatives and expand program impact within the community. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' progressive leadership experience, including senior-level management within mission-driven organizations or youth development settings, with a strong understanding of both the theory and practice of youth programming. They will demonstrate success managing and developing senior leaders across multiple program areas, balancing strategic thinking with practical program execution in complex, place-based environments. The candidate will bring strong systems thinking, excellent leadership and relationship-building skills, experience working with diverse youth and families, and a deep commitment to mission-driven work focused on improving outcomes for young people and their communities.
