St. Joseph’s Imaging is seeking an experienced Chief Technologist to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight at our Clay outpatient imaging location. What You’ll Do As Chief Technologist, you’ll balance clinical expertise with department leadership, including: Leadership & Operations Oversee daily imaging operations at assigned outpatient locations Support and guide technologists to ensure smooth workflow and patient throughput Coordinate staffing assignments and assist with schedule coverage Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of new technologists Approve time and manage technical supply ordering Serve as a clinical and operational resource for staff Clinical & Technical Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as needed Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging techniques Adjust imaging parameters to produce high‑quality diagnostic images Assist radiologists and providers during procedures when appropriate Quality, Safety & Compliance Oversee QA/QC programs across imaging modalities Ensure compliance with ACR accreditation, NYS DOH, and radiation safety standards Enforce ALARA principles and infection prevention protocols Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation Equipment & Department Support Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting Coordinate service and repairs with vendors Ensure imaging equipment remains safe and operational What We’re Looking For Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT‑registered Radiologic Technologist Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License Advanced modality experience (CT, Mammography) preferred 3–5 years of diagnostic imaging experience Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Why Join St. Joseph’s Imaging Leadership role in a stable outpatient setting Supportive, collaborative team environment Opportunity to remain hands‑on clinically while leading Meaningful work that directly impacts patient care and team success Outpatient imaging centers in Clay and Northeast Syracuse Combination of clinical imaging and leadership responsibilities Fast‑paced, team‑oriented healthcare environment If you’re a motivated technologist ready to lead with confidence, support your team, and help deliver outstanding outpatient imaging services, we encourage you to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
