Flat Bed Cdl Driver Carson City Apply
Ewing Outdoor Supply, the largest family-owned supplier of landscape and irrigation products in the country, is seeking a CDL Flatbed Driver in Carson City to join their logistics and supply chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting materials to and from retail or distribution centers in the Carson City area, while ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.
As a CDL Flatbed Driver, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, planning efficient routes, complying with CDL rules and regulations, and effectively communicating with customers.
Requirements
- Valid CDL license with required endorsements for operating a flatbed vehicle
- Proven work experience as a CDL Driver, preferably with experience in flatbed transportation
- Excellent driving record with no moving violations or accidents in the past 3 years
- Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software such as GPS, AVL units, and CB radios
- Thorough knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Ability to adapt to changing traffic and weather conditions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle the physical demands of the job
- Willingness to submit to background and drug checks
