Daycare & Preschool Teacher | Colorado Springs | Full-Time & Part-Time

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Childcare Teacher for our NAEYC-accredited school in Colorado Springs. Full-time and part-time positions are available. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you!

Lead Teacher starting pay: $16-$18 hour, starting rates based on education and experience.

Higher starting pay for those able to drive a 14 passanger bus in the afternoons.

Assistant Teacher starting pay: $15-$16 hour, starting rates based on experience.

We are looking expand and open more classrooms, plus have openings with room for growth!

Open positions:

Float teacher/ Substitute cook

Toddler teacher

Pre-k teacher

School Age teacher

Float teacher assistant (Pre-k or Toddlers)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required and must be at least 18-years-old.
• Previous teaching experience in licensed childcare preferred.
• Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field preferred.
• Must have the following qualifications to be considered for a Lead Teacher:
• Early child development college courses in combination with experience
• Completed college degree
• Current CDA
• Early childhood or special education professional development trainings through the state such as EQIT or pyramid plus
• Credential 3.0 level 2 or higher
