Clover Montessori School is located in West St. Paul, MN, serving children ages 16 months to 6 years old. We have one Toddler Community and one Childrens House. Clover Montessori School adheres to the Montessori Method as set by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).

We are seeking a Childrens House Assistant Guide with a passion for Dr. Montessoris method of early education to join our team of professionals. The faculty at Clover Montessori School are committed to providing the best care and education to all children.

This full-time position is for a dedicated individual who values the early childhood profession and wishes to make a difference in childrens and families lives.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist the Guide in maintaining a safe, clean, ordered, and beautiful learning environment that is developmentally appropriate for the age group.
• Observe and redirect children in the environment when required.
• Support children during transitions in a calm, clear manner.
• Maintain a quiet environment during naptime.
• Maintain professional relationships with coworkers.
• Attend professional development trainings and seminars.
• Support Guide in maintaining DHS licensing requirements for the learning environments and prioritizing health and safety.

Position Requirements:

• Must meet qualifications defined by Minnesota Administrative Rule 9503.0033.
• Montessori experience preferred.
• Associate or bachelors degree preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Background clearance.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
