Church Administrator Apply
The Diocese of Lake Charles is seeking a dedicated and organized Church Administrator to support the mission and vision of the church community. The Church Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the church office, managing resources, and providing essential support for the planning and execution of church events. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative operations of the church office
- Manage financial records, including budgeting and accounting
- Coordinate scheduling for church events, meetings, and services
- Serve as a liaison between clergy, staff, and parishioners
- Facilitate communication through newsletters, websites, and social media
- Maintain accurate records of parishioner information and sacramental records
- Implement and enforce diocesan policies and procedures as applicable
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Theology, or related field
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a church or nonprofit organization
- Strong knowledge of financial management and budgeting processes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with church operations and the teachings of the Catholic faith
