CIAM Deployment Engineer

We are seeking a CIAM Deployment Engineer with expertise in Node.js, React.js, and API testing with Postman to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our microservices-based Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) platform. This role focuses on enhancing platform capabilities, integrating new services, and ensuring high performance through monitoring and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Microservices Development and Integration:

• Extend and enhance the CIAM platform's Node.js microservices layer to support integration with additional platforms and services.
• Build and maintain front-end components using React.js to support customer identity services.
• Design and deliver APIs to support CIAM functionalities, testing and validating endpoints using Postman.

Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

• Monitor and address latency, performance bottlenecks, and service issues on the CIAM microservices platform.
• Use tools like Dynatrace and Splunk to identify and resolve platform issues proactively.

Testing and Documentation:

• Conduct comprehensive unit and QA testing for new and existing services using modern frameworks and testing tools, including Postman for API validation.
• Assist in developing a detailed CIAM microservices Runbook for use by production support teams.

Collaboration and Escalation:

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver new CIAM APIs and features.
• Escalate and troubleshoot complex service degradation issues as necessary.

Platform Enhancements:

• Integrate additional products and features into the CIAM platform, extending capabilities and ensuring seamless functionality.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in software development with Node.js, JavaScript, and other programming languages.
• Proficiency in front-end development using React.js.
• Advanced experience in API testing and validation with Postman.
• Familiarity with RESTful and event-driven API gateways.
• Cloud and Infrastructure Knowledge:
• 3+ years of experience with cloud architectures such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools (e.g., OpenShift, AKS), and version control tools like Git.

Monitoring and Security:

• 2+ years of experience with SIEM tools like Dynatrace or Splunk.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC2 and NIST 800-63A is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IDaaS platforms such as ForgeRock or Ping Identity.
• Understanding of containerized application management and testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Familiarity with financial services or information security domains.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
