Detroit, Michigan area company is seeking to hire an experienced Professional Civil Engineer to design Water and Wastewater processing systems and facilities. REQUIREMENTS B.S. in Civil Engineering P.E. License in the state of Michigan required 7+ years' work experience Municipal Water and Wastewater Collection and Treatment Systems facilities design Hydraulic modeling and project management experience is needed Ability to design and calculate hydraulic flow, pipe, pump, & valve sizing Design and review new facilities for upgrading water and wastewater infrastructures Attention to detail, strong leadership, ability to multitask, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills Identify specific water / wastewater issues and develop efficient engineering solutions for pump stations and storm systems Field testing, Hydraulic modeling, transmission and distribution main design, booster pump station design, water treatment plant design Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
