Our client is a civil and electrical engineering consulting firm whose Phase I, II and III projects include work through the Illinois Department of Transportation, the Illinois Toll Highway Authority, counties, municipalities, and other agencies throughout Illinois. Our client is currently looking for a talented and experienced Civil Engineer to join their growing team.The Civil Engineer must have 5+ years' experience working in Illinois transportationCivil Engineer Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or relatedMust be a PE with 5 - 8+ years of experience in the transportation engineering marketplaceMust be local to the Chicagoland areaWorking knowledge of industry standardsMust be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others and provide direction to othersMust have experience with CADD/Design software - MicroStation/Open Roads DesignerCivil Engineer Description:Manage, review, and assist with the production of design plans, schedules, reports, calculations, estimates and specificationsAssignments will include Safety Reviews, Roadway Plan and Profiles, Maintenance of Traffic Plans, Pavement Marking Plans and QC/QAOther duties as assignedWHO WE AREChoosing the Hire Road is about shared success, active and committed partnerships and relationships that last.
