Civil Engineer/Project Manager

Location: Prince George's County, Maryland

We are seeking a Site/Civil Engineering Project Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for clients, overseeing project staffing, resource allocation, scheduling, and financial management. The Project Manager will also be responsible for supervising and mentoring engineering design staff, ensuring the successful execution of projects, and fostering positive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison for client relations, ensuring project satisfaction and effective communication.
  • Manage all aspects of project execution, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise and mentor design staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Write proposals, addenda, and other project-related documentation.
  • Liaise with senior management to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Support business development efforts, with a focus on client retention and growth.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Maryland, or the ability to obtain within six months of hire.
  • 10+ years of experience in land development, civil engineering, and construction management in Prince George's County, Maryland.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing and supervising civil engineering design teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with entitlement work is a plus.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, other industry design software, and Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time, in-office position. Remote work options may be available in future.
