Emanuel Engineering, Inc. is a civil engineering consulting firm based in New Hampshire specializing in land development, subdivision design, stormwater management, septic design, and site permitting. We are looking for a motivated Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to a wide range of projects from initial design through regulatory approval and construction. This role offers hands‑on experience across all phases of land development in a collaborative, small‑firm environment where your work has direct impact. Duties Prepare engineering design documents for site grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management using Carlson software. Perform stormwater modeling and analysis using HydroCAD. Design septic systems in accordance with NH state standards and local requirements. Assist with preparation and submittal of NHDES Alteration of Terrain permits and other state and local regulatory applications. Interface with clients, municipal boards, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with a multidisciplinary project team including scientists, designers, attorneys, and contractors. Prepare technical reports, calculations, and permit documentation. Support construction inspection and field surveying activities as needed. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university. Minimum 5 years of experience in civil site or land development engineering required. Engineer‑In‑Training (E.I.T.) certification required; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a plus. Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software required; experience with HydroCAD, Carlson, and Microsoft Office preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
