Potesta & Associates, Inc., an engineering and environmental consulting firm, is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer for our Winchester, Virginia office. This position involves working under the supervision of project managers and senior team members on various projects, including site development, stormwater management, roadways, water and sewer systems, permitting, and related areas.

Responsibilities:

• Design tasks can include concept drawings, technical specifications, contract documents, maps, reports, and support documentation.
• Construction phase support can include construction monitoring and quality control/quality assurance.
• Communicate with regulatory agencies.
• Technical tasks can include calculations and analysis of data to assist in design and report preparation.

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering
• Recent graduate - 5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
