Civil Project Manager

Samiotes Consultants, Inc. is a civil engineering and land surveying company specializing in land development and infrastructure. Position Overview We are searching for a Civil Project Manager to provide full-cycle project support for Land Development projects. The Project Manager position requires exceptional leadership and communication skills, strong drive, motivation, and an entrepreneurial spirit to support and grow your client portfolio. Responsible for acting independently and finding timely resolution to project hurdles. Reports to the Civil Engineering Director. Responsibilities Oversees the Design of Permitting/Construction plan sets for various Land Development projects and is responsible for QA/QC of all projects under their control. Oversees Development and preparation of reports and specifications, conducts site visits, and collaborates with internal/external team members throughout Design/Approval/Construction process, attends public hearings and meetings, develops schedules, budgets and proposals (contracts). Responsible for building, maintaining, and managing Client relationships. Monitors and tracks project progress and is responsible for overall project performance and profitability. Has the ability to mentor, train, and develop project team of Project Engineers and Designers. Qualifications 5 - 10 years project design experience in Land Development field. Licensure in Civil Engineering, preferred. Soil Evaluator’s License and/or LEED Accreditation, a Plus. Excellent technical knowledge within civil engineering field with the ability to perform quality control on deliverables (plans, reports, specifications) for various Land Development projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn. Collaborative and professional work ethic.
