Civil/Structural Engineer
Job Summary
This role will be responsible for designing and upgrading steel structures tailored to the upstream petroleum industry, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Your expertise will directly contribute to the development of innovative, reliable, and efficient structural solutions for challenging environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural steel design and oversee design control operations in accordance with codes such as AISC, API 4F, API RP 2A, DNV, and ABS.
- Apply engineering principles to design or upgrade various light and heavy steel structures for upstream petroleum applications.
- Develop detailed 3D structural engineering models to support project planning and execution.
- Design bolted and welded steel connections following AISC standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited university (US or international).
- Minimum of 5 years of steel design experience within the upstream petroleum market.
- Strong knowledge of at least one of the following software: Bentley SACS, SAFI, or SAP 2000.
- Additional skills such as experience with ANSYS and knowledge of drilling operations and structures are highly desirable.
