About the Role:
We are hiring a skilled Civil Structural Engineer for a full-time on-site position in Metairie, LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for civil engineering design, structural analysis, and project management, contributing to the successful execution of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform civil engineering design and structural analysis for diverse infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and construction managers, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Utilize engineering software tools, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, GIS, and ArcGIS, to create accurate designs and models.
  • Develop and review detailed project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and environmental guidelines.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, address challenges, and ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Participate in project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Louisiana, or the ability to obtain one quickly.
  • 4-6 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, GIS, ArcGIS, and other relevant engineering software.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and construction techniques.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainable design principles is a plus.
  • Experience with project management software is advantageous.

Location:
