Job duties may include: management and development of new projects once data collection, research and analysis are executed; active research to design new projects and to prepare and present new ideas to improve current processes which impact the business; researching, collecting, and analysing data for the strategic decision-making process in new project developments...Education/Experience: Bachelor Degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Possesses five to seven years of experience. Responsibilities Perform structural and line design analysis using PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole and PLS-Caisson serving as the go-to expert for modeling and analysis across transmission and distribution. Ensure quality and safety compliance by overseeing QA/QC processes and adhering to company and site-specific safety standards. Review and design pole foundations, providing expert guidance on both new installations and evaluations of existing infrastructure. Support construction activities by coordinating with field teams to resolve design-related issues, conducting field inspections, and assisting with emergency restoration efforts due to wildfires, storms, or other incidents. Maintain and update design specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver support to internal and external stakeholders. Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to transmission engineering practice, mentor and guide less experienced engineers. Required Skills Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in civil/structural engineering California Civil PE License required Seven or more years of technical experience in transmission and/or distribution line engineering design. Engineering experience with Electric Utility Distribution and Transmission Systems using California GO95, NESC and ASCE codes and guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
