Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a CNC Machinist with experience setting up and operating 2 to 4, multi-axis CNC lathes. This is a direct hire opportunity with a world leading manufacturer of mechanical components located in Hicksville NY.
Under the direction of the shop manager, the machinist should be able to set up their machine with little to no intervention and execute the provided programs in a timely manner. Experience with Swiss-type lathes is a bonus, but not a requirement.
Duties:
- Set-up and run 2-4 multi-axis CNC lathes.
- Must be able to inspect own work and make any off-set chances as required to ensure an acceptable first piece.
