Vacuum Truck Drivers/Jet Truck DriversGlobal Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) partners with clients across utilities, mining, chemical, pulp & paper, and manufacturing industries to deliver innovative environmental, health, and safety solutions. Our highly trained teams provide 24/7 industrial cleaning, hydro blasting, vacuum truck services, and specialized solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and full turn-key turnaround services. We also manage waste handling, transportation, and disposal in strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Position OverviewGlobal Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is seeking dedicated Vacuum Truck Drivers/Jet Truck Drivers with a Class A or Class B CDL to join our growing team. This hands-on position involves approximately 20% driving and 80% manual labor, including moving hoses, off-loading at facilities, and participating in various onsite operations.Essential FunctionsDrive and operate vacuum trucks and related equipment on site and transport equipment between job sites as assigned.Engage in strenuous, practical, and manual activities daily, including assisting technicians onsite.Operate light and heavy equipment such as blasting equipment, vacuum trucks, hoses, and more.Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.Work in confined spaces and elevated areas, as well as in hot, wet, cold, and potentially foul-smelling environments during 812-hour shifts.Key BehaviorsPassionate, motivated, and open to growth and challenges.Proactively build customer relationships and provide thoughtful solutions.Maintain a professional appearance and represent Global with pride.Strive for continuous improvement by embracing new tools and processes.Demonstrate respect toward co-workers and foster a positive team environment.Promote opportunities within the company and through referrals.Required Skills & QualificationsClass A or Class B CDL requiredTanker Endorsement requiredHazmat Endorsement preferredCurrent DOT Medical Card requiredRegistered in the DOT Clearinghouse requiredValid driver's license with a clean 3-year motor vehicle record.Must pass background check and drug testAbility to carry/move up to 50 lbs.Capable of performing manual labor outdoors in various weather and environmental conditionsWillingness to work in confined and elevated spaces, and to use a respirator; may be required to be clean-shavenAbility to work shifts longer than 8 hours as needed, including emergency callouts24 years of hands-on experience with tools and heavy equipment (preferred)Prior industry experience is a plusPay$23.50 - $29.00/hour DOE (Pay is commensurate with prior experience)Benefits6 Paid Holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage; Free Term Life InsurancePaid Time Off (accruals start on day 1; available after 90 days)401(k) match up to 4%Regular pay increases and career development opportunitiesAccident, cancer/critical illness, short-term and long-term disability, and hospital indemnity insurance availableDrug-free workplace.
