Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Levittown, PA is seeking four dedicated ABA paraprofessionals to provide support for students with severe autism spectrum disorder across K-12 classrooms. These full-time contract positions require a strong commitment to enhancing student outcomes through evidence-based interventions within a structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies under supervision for students requiring Autism Support Level 3.
  • Support students exhibiting severe behaviors including physical aggression and elopement, applying advanced safety and crisis intervention protocols as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to design and adjust individualized support plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and behavior.
  • Participate fully in a mandatory orientation week prior to starting the assignment.

Candidate Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an ABA paraprofessional working directly in K-12 classroom settings.
  • Residency within 35 minutes commuting distance of Levittown, PA to ensure reliable punctuality.
  • Ability to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday, approximately 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • Compliance or willingness to comply with Pennsylvania state paraprofessional credentialing requirements; candidates must hold or obtain certification within 60 days of employment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience managing students with complex behavior challenges.
  • Possession of a valid drivers license and reliable personal transportation is strongly preferred.
