Cleared Senior Java Developer

To modernize a critical government information system, the cleared Senior Java Developer will work full-time, remotely, focusing on upgrading enterprise Java applications, integrating with various technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in secure environments. Key responsibilities: Plan and execute technology stack upgrades for enterprise Java applications in secure government environments Develop and maintain Java/Python components on Windows-based VMware infrastructure while implementing secure coding practices Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure minimal operational disruption during system upgrades Required qualifications: 13+ years of experience in Systems or IT-related roles, with a focus on enterprise Java application development Expertise in Python and Apache Solr with Zookeeper, including upgrading and migrating Solr index data Experience with Apache Tomcat, Apache Directory Studio, and Oracle 19c/Relational database integration Familiarity with SAP Business Intelligence reporting frameworks and secure coding practices for government compliance Ability to obtain and/or maintain a TS/SCI government clearance, requiring US Citizenship
