About the Role The Client Manager maximizes revenues from sales of the organization's products and/or services through a base of reseller partners in specific assigned channels and/or vertical markets. Locates, evaluates and recruits potential channel partners, including systems integrators, value‑added resellers (VARs), distributors, dealers or retailers. Supports partners throughout the sales process in all sales‑oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions and training to achieve revenue targets. Responsibilities Developing and implementing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand business opportunities Building and maintaining enduring, long‑term client relationships through regular communication and effective account management practices Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products or services to clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly Identifying and pursuing opportunities for upselling or cross‑selling additional products or services to existing clients Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities within assigned accounts Providing leadership and guidance to junior account management professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement Qualifications Have a proven track record of successfully managing large key accounts in a similar professional role Possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders Be adept at developing and executing strategic account plans to drive business growth and achieve targets Demonstrate a deep understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and industry trends within the Account Management function Be capable of providing leadership and mentorship to junior account management professionals Possess a relevant background in business, marketing, or a related field Have a solid grasp of financial principles and the ability to analyze sales data and market trends effectively Be proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools to manage client accounts efficiently Work in a way that works for you We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization. If performed in Illinois, the base pay range is $51,600 - $86,200, the total target cash range is $79,500 - $132,600. If performed in Chicago, IL, the base pay range is $54,100 - $90,400, the total target cash range is $83,200 - $138,900. U.S. National Base Pay Range: $49,200 - $82,100, Total Target Cash Range: $75,700 - $126,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
