Role Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as an Account Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, driving sales, and achieving revenue targets. As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and cold calling.
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Work closely with leadership to refine sales materials, presentations, systems, and processes to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize HubSpot to streamline sales processes, track sales metrics, and manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Actively participate in industry events and networking activities to expand client base.
  • Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Achieve sales targets and goals set by management.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to identify areas for improvement and upselling opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of account executive experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in educational technology or related industries.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Based in Chicago preferred, but the position is open to full-time remote candidates.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and join in-person team gatherings.
