We welcome candidates with backgrounds in biomedical sciences, clinical research, data science or similar fields (engineering degree not required).As a Clinical analytics engineer, you will be instrumental in performing Real World Evidence (RWE) studies, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring optimal quality, reliability, and efficiency of our analytics.What LynxCare offers:A chance to be at the forefront of healthcare data innovation, working with a team of 25 highly motivated clinical and data experts.A fast-growing, welcoming environment, where initiative is valued and personal/professional growth is supported.The opportunity to expand your knowledge, try innovative technologies, constantly experiment, and evolve.Attractive salary package, incl. extralegal benefits such as mobility budget, hospitalization insurance, group insurance, meal-vouchers, net cost-allowance and reimbursement of mobile telco subscription ‍Job Description As a Clinical analytics engineer, you are responsible for delivering high quality research output for Real World Evidence studies based on our NLP-enriched clinical OMOP databases, including: Perform project based analysis, including query writing, devising data definitions, data visualization and report writing.Translate customer expectations to the functionalities of our solution, including project scoping, feedback implementation and output reviewCollaborate with our engineering teams to help improve current processes and drive innovationCollaborate with our medical team to help translate analytical insights to scientific output such as conference abstracts and scientific publications You have:Experience in working with (large) datasetsPhD in Biomedical sciences (or related field), or at least 2 years of professional experience in clinical data analysis  Programming skills in R and SQLExperience with clinical data, especially in the fields of cardiology and oncologyTeam player with an analytical problem-solving mind and an eye for detail  Effective communicator with diligence and strong sense of accountabilityAbility to work independently on projectsLanguages: English (Conversational - required), Dutch (Conversational - required)  You have (nice to have):(= technologies/expertise you will be exposed to, but for which previous experience is not a must to be considered for the job): Experience with Power BI or other BI-toolsProgramming skills in PythonExperience with Spark (Databricks) or JupyterhubExperience with Azure or KubernetesKnowledge of medical ontology libraries (e.g. UMLS, Athena) and OMOP CDM Experience with NLP or other types of machine learning French, German or Spanish (Basic proficiency or higher)  Join us in our mission to transform healthcare through data innovation!
