Clinical Application Analyst III (Full Time Onsite-8135-E) Join Kingman Regional Medical Center as a Clinical Application Analyst III to support core enterprise business systems, ensuring cost-effective, high quality and safe patient care. Position Purpose All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties to support KHI’s vision of providing the region’s best clinical care and patient service. The Clinical Applications Analyst 3 supports the core functions of enterprise business systems, assisting customers with design, implementation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution. The role also involves system implementations, project management, system development upgrades, staff training, and acts as a Financial/Business/Technical liaison. Key Responsibilities Obtain requirements through discovery, document analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, research scenarios, tasks, and workflow. Ask thought‑provoking questions to clarify needs and develop quality requirements documentation. Apply project standards consistently and promote best practices. Assist in project timeline development, maintenance, coordination, and test plan creation. Prioritize tasks and manage multiple internal and external projects. Act as liaison between the Business community and Health Information Technology. Conduct technical and non‑technical training, create documentation, and modify clinical applications. Travel to campuses and physician offices as required; interstate travel may be necessary. Contribute to system availability, productivity, security, and budget‑conscious initiatives. Customer Service Provide excellent customer service to IS customers. Adhere to the Behavioral Expectations Agreement. Show proactive problem‑solving attitude. Build relationships, cross‑group collaboration, and maintain credibility. Interact effectively with vendors to resolve system hardware/software issues. Assist customers with implementation, workflow identification, and issue resolution. Quality of Work Manage work orders and project assignments to meet deadlines. Encourage user participation in requirements, testing, and system acceptance. Collaborate with IS personnel to determine database requirements and equipment compatibility. Keep awareness of current technology. Diagnose multi‑environment problems. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication. Show initiative, organization, and time‑utilization skills. Quantity of Work Maintain steady productivity and performance level. Adapt to changing workloads and priorities. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or other healthcare‑related field strongly preferred; certification or experience may substitute a degree. Experience Minimum 5 years application support experience in healthcare or 5 years in patient care, ancillary, or revenue cycle departments. Or current position as Clinical Applications Analyst II for at least one year with performance meeting goal expectations. Experience working with multidisciplinary workgroups and systems administration. Experience building and maintaining data and tables within systems. Skills and Knowledge High analytic, implementation, and troubleshooting skills across broad systems. Data extraction from databases for clinical, financial, or statistical needs. Understanding of clinical/business workflow, system integration, HL7, and security. Familiarity with HIPAA/HITEC and Meaningful Use. Strong team player with people skills. Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical personnel. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to analyze theory and apply to practice. Maintain composure in stressful situations. Preferences PMP certification or eligibility preferred. Special Position Requirements Travel as required; safety‑sensitive position. Work Requirements Stand and/or walk for periods of 2 hours or more. Minimum work week: 40 hours.
