Job DescriptionPosition: Clinical Dietitian ILocation: Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital in Norfolk, VASign On Bonus - $2500The Clinical Dietitian I provides overall nutrition care to patients and is considered an entry-level role. Assures that the nutritional needs of the individual patients are being met and that all documentation as it relates to the patient?s nutritional status is complete and accurate. Plans and administers activities related to resident/patient nutrition care, complying with the standards established by Aramark Healthcare, regulatory agencies, and clients. Establishes and maintains effective multidisciplinary relationships to provide a unified approach to patient/resident care. The Clinical Dietitians at the site gains exposure to both the Long Term Care and Pediacatrics units. This is a Monday-Friday job and also assisting with coverage during holidays.Job ResponsibilitiesAssess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needsProvide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changesCollaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition careMonitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as neededStay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition#FS-500QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institutionRegistered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation required or the ability to obtain RD / RDN within 6 monthsLicensed Dietitian status inVirginiawithin 6 months of hireExcellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsPassion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutritionEducationAbout AramarkOur MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
