Clinical Dietitian (Day Shift)

• Location: Watertown, NY, 13601
• Duration: 13 week
• Shift: 8hr Days
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Pay Rate: $1,840 - $2,000; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Dietitian to join our healthcare team on a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based nutrition care to patients in acute or long-term care settings while maintaining excellent communication with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (Point Click Care or Meditech).
• Provide patient and family education regarding dietary needs and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics required.
• Registered Dietitian credentialed with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Registration Eligible. (Required)
• Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist in New York State preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience in acute care or long-term care preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical proficiency in Point Click Care, Meditech, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be willing to travel within a 100-mile radius of Watertown, NY.
