Clinical Dietitian (Permanent Role)

Location: Watertown, NY 13601
Shift: Days (40 hours) rotating weekend coverage
Pay Range: $28/hr - $37.10 (hr)

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients/residents
• Identify individuals at risk for malnutrition and implement early intervention strategies
• Perform Nutrition Focused Physical Exams (NFPE) to assess the degree of malnutrition
• Develop individualized diet plans and monitor their effectiveness over time
• Provide nutrition education to patients/residents, families, and healthcare staff
• Document all interventions and progress notes in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and recovery
• Comply with all regulatory standards and facility policies

• Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics (required)
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registration Eligible (required)
• Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist (CDN) in New York State (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in acute care or long-term care setting (preferred)
• Proficient in PointClickCare, Meditech, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
