Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000

Job Description:

The Clinical Director of OB & NICU will lead the department's activities and manage resources to achieve both departmental and organizational goals. The role focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while aligning with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Department Leadership: Develop and implement department goals, plans, and standards in line with the organization's clinical, administrative, and ethical objectives.
  • Operations Management: Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, service levels, information technologies, and compliance management, to meet performance and quality control targets.
  • Staff Management: Oversee staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and continuing education programs.
  • Budget Oversight: Prepare, monitor, and evaluate the department's budget to ensure operations remain within allocated funding, and coordinate internal/external audits.
  • Professional Development: Foster a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development for the team.
  • Clinical Integration: Implement evidence-based practices into departmental operations and clinical protocols to enhance patient outcomes.
Must-Have Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
    • 5+ years of experience as an RN in OB (Obstetrics) or NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).
    • 5+ years of management experience in a clinical setting.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
  • Experience managing a unionized workforce.
