Job Description

Clinical Director (BCBA)

Location: Temecula, CA Role Type: Leadership & Clinical Oversight

As the Clinical Director, you will lead the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) team in our Temecula clinic. Your goal is to balance high-quality patient care with the growth and mentorship of our clinical staff. You’ll oversee everything from individual treatment plans to the overall "vibe" and productivity of the clinic.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Team: Supervise and mentor a team of BCBAs and RBTs. You are their "go-to" for clinical support and professional growth.
  • Clinical Quality: Review and approve treatment plans (FBAs and BIPs). Ensure every child is receiving the best, most effective care possible in the clinic, at home, or at school.
  • Direct Care: Stay hands-on with a small, manageable caseload (roughly 10–15 hours per week), focusing on new assessments or complex cases.
  • Clinic Management: Keep an eye on the "business" side—making sure session notes are done on time, insurance authorizations are used correctly, and the clinic meets its goals.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with families and other specialists (like Speech and Occupational Therapists) to provide a complete circle of care for each child.

What We’re Looking For

  • Certification: You must be an active BCBA in good standing.
  • Experience: At least 3–5 years of clinical ABA experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Tools of the Trade: Experience with assessments like VB-MAPP, Vineland, or AFLS, and comfort using data software (like CentralReach).
  • California Ready: Must have (or be able to get) an NPI and CAQH profile for California billing.
