We are a fast-paced, high-quality dermatology practice dedicated to providing exceptional medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care. We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Back Office Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of dermatology experience and be comfortable assisting providers with both medical and surgical procedures, including excisional and Mohs surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology procedures

• Assist physicians during examinations, biopsies, excisions, and Mohs procedures

• Scribe during patient encounters and accurately document in the EMR (ModMed EMA preferred)

• Maintain exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure compliance with safety and procedural standards

• Provide excellent patient care with a friendly, professional demeanor

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dermatology experience required

• Experience assisting with excision or Mohs procedures preferred

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), especially ModMed EMA (preferred)

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
