Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical NeuroPsychologist with expertise in neuropsychological assessment and clinical research. In this role, you will support research protocols focused on mental health, conducting assessments and providing clinical support for patients and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in mental health, while working with a diverse patient population.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
  • Certification from the American Board of Clinical Psychology (ABCP).
  • Specialized experience in clinical trial management and working with special populations (children, adolescents, adults, elderly).
  • Expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT).
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen and recruit patients for research protocols, including conducting neuropsychological assessments for both children and adults.
  • Administer and score tests related to intelligence, learning/memory, personality, and mood.
  • Provide clinical support to patients and their families throughout their participation in research studies.
  • Analyze and interpret neuropsychological and psychological test results, providing feedback to referral sources and research subjects.
  • Conduct pre- and post-operative cognitive assessments for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with research teams to plan and execute clinical studies, providing consultation on study design and psychological instruments.
  • Develop and customize protocol-specific tests in consultation with research staff to meet the unique needs of the study.
  • Educate staff on the strengths, limitations, and proper use of psychological testing.
