This role supports evidence-based practice, professional development, and regulatory compliance for teams involved in patient care, care coordination, and case management. The Clinical Educator functions as a leader, mentor, and resource to promote high-quality, patient-centered care and support workforce development initiatives.Essential Functions:Design and deliver orientation, onboarding, and continuing education for clinical teams.Identify learning needs through skills assessments, performance data, audits, and staff feedback.Support staff in applying evidence-based practices, regulatory standards, and care management guidelines.Provide real-time coaching, mentoring, and clinical support to staff in complex patient care situations or transitional care planning.Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to align education with organizational priorities, policies, and performance goals.Maintain and evaluate competency-based education modules and ensure training documentation is accurate and up to date.Monitor compliance with accreditation, licensure, and regulatory requirements in care delivery and documentation.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary committees related to patient outcomes and care transitions.Serve as a subject matter expert in care coordination, case management, and patient advocacy practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study requiredMaster's Degree Related Field of Study preferredMassachusetts Registered Nurse License requiredExperience in acute clinical practice 3-5 years requiredExperience in staff education, clinical instruction, or preceptorship 2-3 years preferredExperience in working in a healthcare setting with complex patient populations and interdisciplinary collaboration 2-3 years preferredStrong presentation, facilitation, and instructional design skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across multiple disciplines.Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), learning management systems (LMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.About Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital:Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is a non-profit, community teaching hospital located in Jamaica Plain directly across the street from the Arnold Arboretum.
