Clinical Nurse EducatorThe Clinical Nurse Educator role will be utilized to improve the overall quality of care within the Medical/Surgical unit. This job will help prepare the nursing staff through education, certification and the incorporation of research for the future. The clinical educator will focus on clinical education, improving performance measures, engaging staff and ensuring annual competencies are completed to meet the needs of the unit and improve overall care of patients. Provides consistent feedback and progress reports to the new graduate, and follow up with the nurse manager. Facilitates staff development and personal growth through peer review, observation, education and role modeling.
