Job Title: Clinical Payments Analyst

Location: Maple Grove, MN 55311

Duration: 12 Months

Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM

Role Overview:

The Clinical Payments Analyst will support financial analysis activities related to clinical study payments. This includes budget reviews, invoice processing, handling customer inquiries, and preparing reports for audits and month-end activities. The role involves collaborating with project managers to ensure financial consistency across clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and process invoices for clinical studies.
• Research payment issues, providing accurate findings to relevant departments.
• Review contracts and grant agreements for financial risk and billing accuracy.
• Set up new study budgets and manage quarterly payments.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing reports.
• Analyze clinical study payment data and support special projects.
• Work with the Clinical Study Data Systems team on application enhancements.
• Maintain and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality of financial and other sensitive data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Computer Information Systems.
• Experience with automated accounting systems and relational databases (preferably SAP).
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
• 1-3 years in finance/accounting
• 1-2 years in invoicing
