Position Overview

FOCUSPOINT is seeking experienced Clinical Pharmacists to support our healthcare clients in enhancing inpatient pharmacy services. These roles offer a unique opportunity to lead strategic clinical initiatives, mentor pharmacy teams, and collaborate across departments to improve patient outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement clinical pharmacy programs aligned with hospital objectives
• Lead formulary management, drug utilization reviews, and provider education
• Serve as a clinical liaison across departments and specialties
• Provide interim leadership support, including acting as Pharmacy Director when needed
• Participate in hospital committees and cross-functional initiatives
• Monitor complex drug therapies and offer expert clinical guidance
• Advance initiatives in nutrition, anticoagulation, renal dosing, and related areas
• Track and improve pharmacy quality metrics and reporting
• Mentor pharmacy staff and foster a culture of clinical excellence
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards

Candidate Profile

• Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institution (Doctorate preferred)
• 5+ years of hospital pharmacy experience, including 1+ year in clinical or operational leadership
• Strong background in formulary management and interdisciplinary collaboration
• PGY2 residency or BCPS certification preferred
• Active pharmacist license in good standing
• Familiarity with Meditech, Microsoft Office, and pharmacy systems
