We are excited to announce that MCHC will be opening a brand-new Same-Day Clinic, with an anticipated launch in early 2026. To ensure a smooth opening, we plan to welcome new team members ahead of time, providing them with thorough training and the opportunity to build strong organizational knowledge. As a Clinical Registered Nurse, you’ll help lay the foundation for excellent patient experiences from day one by shaping workflows, building a strong care team, and setting the standard for same-day access to care.


In this role, you’ll use your clinical expertise to triage patients, support providers, and ensure smooth care coordination across the health center. What You’ll Do

  • Provide same-day clinical support to patients via in-person and phone triage once the clinic opens.
  • Use nursing protocols and sound clinical judgment to assess urgent medical needs.
  • Help develop and refine patient flow processes for efficient, compassionate care.
  • Deliver direct patient care and supervise medical assistants and LVNs within the Care Team.
  • Monitor follow-up care after emergency room visits or hospital discharge.
  • Partner with the Population Health team to manage chronic care and overdue screenings.
  • Serve as a clinical resource, preceptor, and role model for nursing best practices.
  • Manage daily team huddles and provider inboxes to maintain continuity and high-quality care.
  • Administer and verify injections and vaccines as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement, training, and cross-site support.

  • Completion of an approved IV therapy course
