We are looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Architect to strengthen a growing cloud team. This role blends architectural thinking with hands-on execution, ideal for someone who enjoys shaping strategy while actively building and improving cloud environments. Role OverviewAs an Azure Cloud Architect, you will design, implement, manage, and support secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You’ll work closely with development, delivery, and technology teams to turn architectural vision into practical, high-impact solutions that support clients’ cloud strategies. Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Design• Design Azure cloud blueprints including governance, security, and compliance frameworks• Advise on scalability, high availability, and cost optimization best practices• Evaluate and integrate new Azure services and technologies aligned with the cloud roadmap• Document architecture principles and maintain clear technical guidelinesHands-on Cloud Engineering• Implement and maintain secure, scalable Azure infrastructure• Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform• Support development teams by bridging software delivery and infrastructure reliability• Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud environmentsCollaboration & Continuous Improvement• Work closely with delivery and technology teams to translate designs into action• Monitor and optimize Azure services for operational excellence• Stay up to date with the latest Azure innovations and best practicesProfile Requirements• Strong expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem• Experience with cloud architecture, governance, and security• Hands on experience with Terraform and IaC principles• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills• Effective communication in Dutch and English• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
