Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Working with the LOB business leaders, application managers, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure Architects, and project teams to create and implement common and reusable solution architecture components.
- Working with project teams to execute migration to hybrid cloud environments (Azure, GCP, PCF, AKS, GKE)
- Working with project teams to execute modernization of our application portfolio: CI/CD adoption, automated testing, improve application monitoring, creation of microservices, etc.
- Provide technology leadership to project teams and product owners tied to enhancements and new functionality
- Ability to collaborate with a team of architects to create and implement solution architecture components while working closely with LOB partners, CTOs and Application managers.
- Conducts complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions
- Ensures applications adhere to established Wells Fargo standards, policies, methodologies and industry best practices.
- Participates in the definition of future technology architecture and strategy.
- Stays abreast of emerging technologies and capabilities in order to prepare and respond to customer needs and expectations.
- Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas.
- 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ year's experience in API design, Microservices and domain driven design
- 5+ year's experience to Cloud implementations and design, as well as integration between Cloud environments (on-prem and off-prem) Azure and GC
- Exposure to modern application architecture principles
- Exposure to agile tooling: CI/CD Pipelines, Maven, Jenkins, Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible
- 7+ years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
- 5+ years of experience designing and or developing integration solutions
