Cloud Engineer (Kubernetes)

Overview Agility Partners is seeking qualified applicants to fill an open Cloud Engineer position to join the Services Infrastructure Team, which powers the daily operations and rapid growth of one of the most innovative brands in fast-casual dining. This backfill role comes with a strong likelihood of extension and eventual conversion based on performance. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of digital and edge infrastructure, directly impacting mobile ordering systems and restaurant operations. Responsibilities Support 3 critical Kubernetes-based Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Integrating edge compute with digital platform across restaurants Scaling Kubernetes solutions to support restaurant operations at the national level Helping reimagine mobile/web ordering systems with containerized infrastructure Define the roadmap and implementation strategy to integrate restaurant operations with the broader digital ecosystem using GitOps and Kubernetes Collaborate with technical leadership and the broader engineering team on technical execution Contribute to modernization efforts across the infrastructure stack—including containerization and edge compute Work in a collaborative, agile environment with a close-knit and highly capable team The Ideal Candidate 2–4+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering Deep knowledge of Kubernetes Strong experience with Azure Cloud Terraform expertise Comfort with agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration Ability to tie technical work to broader business impact and revenue goals GitOps knowledge or interest Strong attitude, aptitude, and desire to grow Nice-to-Haves Experience with Edge computing Background in the retail or food/restaurant industry Exposure to GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines Reasons to Love It Comprehensive Medical, Vision and Dental 401k Short Term / Long Term Disability Collaborative, fun, and fast-paced Modern, innovative thinking encouraged Led by a highly respected leader who prioritizes team growth and well-being #J-18808-Ljbffr
