We are currently seeking a Cloud Engineer to work in a collaborative and innovative environment support Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). This is an amazing opportunity to directly support global Command and Control Mission Support (C2MS) program. You will be a critical part of the Cloud Systems Administration team, maintaining the C2MS cloud. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities Focuses on the customer to deliver a solid product. Responsible for resolving IT softwareandinfrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensureappropriate functionof hardware,softwareor system functional specifications. Provides system administration for assigned infrastructure andestablishesand maintains security as it relates to users. Appliessecurity patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment. Supports new infrastructure projects. Maintains all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure. Minimum Requirements Active T3 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information. Active CompTIA Security+ certification. ExperienceinAmazon Web Services, Azure,and other commercial cloud vendors. Experience creating and editing CloudFormation,TerraForm, Azure Resource Manager, and otherIaCtemplates. Cloud Foundation Certification (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals,etc.) Desired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or other Engineering discipline from institution recognized by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) for approved curriculum. Knowledge of Kubernetes and Containers. Experience working in an Agile organization. Automation and Scripting experience using Python,Javascript, GO, and other scripting languages. Experience developing dashboards in CloudWatch, Splunk, and ELK. DevSecOpsautomation and pipeline experience. Interestedin performance monitoring and developing KPIs. Knowledge of Special Operations, SOCOM, and C4ISR systems and networks. Knowledge of DoD information assurance, policy, and regulatory requirements.
