We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join the Messaging squad—a diverse, collaborative team of technologists passionate about innovation and teamwork. This role involves working with cloud technologies to build scalable, secure, and automated messaging solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and messaging systems. Key Responsibilities Configure and deploy applications in public cloud environments such as Azure or AWS. Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or ARM templates. Utilize CI/CD tools including GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins for automated deployments. Build and manage cloud platforms, including Kubernetes, with a focus on continuous improvement. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle—design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Design and deploy automated processes for installing, upgrading, and rehydrating MQ platforms (e.g., Artemis MQ, IBM MQ) in cloud environments. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and outages using strong analytical skills. Provide on-call support and manage incident resolution and release processes. Collaborate with globally distributed Agile teams and contribute to a culture of learning and innovation. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, influencing technical decisions where needed. Required Qualifications Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux systems. Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms. Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM). Expertise in CI/CD tools (GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins). Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native platform management. Familiarity with MQ platforms such as Artemis MQ and IBM MQ. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with incident management and release practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Passion for learning new technologies and staying current with cloud trends. Preferred Qualifications Certification in public cloud platforms (Azure or AWS). Experience working in globally distributed Agile teams.
