Cloud Engineer

Contract to Hire - Hourly W2 - $95-100/hr W2 ONLY NO C2C Eligibility Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (no exceptions) We’re hiring a Cloud Engineer (Developer Experience) to help scale modern cloud infrastructure and improve developer workflows across Infrastructure-as-Code, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms . This role is hands‑on and focused on building reliable, reusable, and secure systems across multi‑cloud environments. Must-Haves Strong experience with Terragrunt + Terraform (structuring, refactoring, state management) Proven experience with Ansible at scale for automation and configuration management Hands‑on experience running Kubernetes workloads (AWS, GCP, or Azure) What You’ll Do Build and maintain standardized Terragrunt structures across accounts, regions, and environments Refactor and migrate Terraform stacks and state with minimal downtime and drift Develop and scale Ansible automation for system provisioning and application deployment Design secure, multi‑cloud architectures using RBAC and least‑privilege access Enhance CI/CD and GitOps workflows (GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, Jenkins) Integrate cloud platforms with tools like Slack, Jira, and internal automation systems Nice to Have Experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management tools Programming experience (Go, Python) Strong Linux background (RHEL/CentOS/Rocky, Ubuntu) Experience with cloud-init and image automation What We Value Ownership, strong problem-solving, attention to scalability, and a passion for improving developer experience.
