Cloud Java Developer - Spring Boot, REST, AWS

IDR is seeking a Java Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, Colorado. This hybrid role will support a cloud-oriented development environment, where you’ll work across backend development, lightweight front-end needs, and CI/CD workflows. You’ll contribute clean, maintainable code while quickly ramping on existing systems and delivering high-quality results. ** This is a 12-month W2 contract position. ** H1b sponsorship or C2C is not supported. Position Overview for the Java Developer: Build and maintain applications using modern Java while collaborating in a cloud-based development environment Develop and integrate REST APIs with strong JSON handling and API integration patterns Contribute to CI/CD workflows with Git-based tooling and automated pipelines Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications in AWS environments Requirements for the Java Developer: Strong professional experience developing applications with Java Experience with Java 21 (or recent versions of the Java SDK) Solid experience with Spring Boot and Spring-based application development Strong working knowledge of JSON and API integration patterns Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab CI/CD) What's in it for you?
