We’re partnering with a high-growth SaaS platform operating in a complex, regulated environment. They’re scaling a multi-tenant cloud platform used by large enterprise customers and are looking for a hands-on technical leader to own and evolve their infrastructure.
You’ll lead from the front, designing and building core platform systems in code, shaping how software is delivered across the company.
If your default instinct is to solve infrastructure problems with Python, this will align well.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Platform Architecture & Engineering
Architect and evolve a multi-tenant cloud platform on AWS
Build core infrastructure systems directly in Python and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
Design highly scalable, secure, and compliant environments across multiple customer deployments
Influence engineering standards across multiple product teams
Own end-to-end deployment pipelines and release infrastructure
Build and optimize CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions or equivalent)
Enable a world where code moves from commit into production without manual intervention
Introduce self-service tooling to unblock engineering teams
Work deeply across AWS: compute, networking, storage, security
Build and operate systems across:
Support integration with modern data stack / lakehouse patterns
Reliability, Security & Compliance
Embed security directly into pipelines (image scanning, IAM, secrets, policy)
Operate in a compliance-sensitive environment (auditability is critical)
Own monitoring, observability, and incident response foundations
Drive metrics around delivery speed and reliability (MTTR, deployment frequency, etc)
Your Background:
7+ years in Platform Engineering / DevOps / Cloud Engineering
Proven experience as a technical lead or senior architectstrong>
Strong, hands-on coding ability in Python (non-negotiable)
Deep AWS experience across:
Compute (EKS/ECS/EC2)
Security (IAM, KMS)
Storage (S3, managed databases)
Strong experience designing and building CI/CD platforms from scratch
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
